BF Legacy Leaders
Boomerang For strives to bring together and build a community and network of leaders, mentors and everlasting examples to support our mission of developing young leaders by example and through charitable causes. Of that network, it is important to include those grand examples of leaders who may no longer be present, but who leave a legacy from which our young leaders can emulate and learn from. The Boomerang For Legacy Leaders are those leaders recognized not only for the accomplishments they achieved while present, but also for the legacies they have left behind.
Riley Cocks
Legacy Youth Development, Exemplary Charity & Leadership
Riley was an established positive influence in his community, in developing the youth and gaining the respect of parents, players and coaches. He instilled utmost passion, energy and heart into all of his roles, from high school baseball coach to umpire and everything in between. It was important to Riley to give back to his community and the youth that he taught in all ways that he could, which is why it was also important to Riley to be an organ donor and give back in that way as well. Specifically, he wanted to donate "so that a mother can have more time with her child." After his passing, his organs gave life in one form or another to over 100 people in need. Riley, and the life lessons and examples he has left behind will continue to guide youth leaders as they develop through our Boomerang For initiatives.
